
Yes, we decided that it was time for Ecole Chocolat to have a voice in the blogosphere! So welcome to our blog bean2bonbon – Tales from our Chocolate Laboratory! We are so excited to be launching another platform to share our love of chocolate science and artistry. We have been hard at work creating posts that will reflect the type of content we plan to share, and now we are ready for the unveiling!
When we decided to launch a blog, and thought about all the different kinds of content we wanted to create, we were also trying to decide what to name it. It was during a meeting when we were talking about a business we are planning to profile that is both chocolate maker and chocolatier (stay tuned to see who it is) that the phrase bean to bonbon came to mind. It seemed such a perfect fit, first of all because of the alliteration (who doesn’t love a title with some solid alliteration after all), but more importantly because it captures the content that we plan to share. We are going to be talking about chocolate, but the complete spectrum, from growing cacao and issues related to sustainability, to issues related to processing, production and flavor in chocolate making, to the delectable products created by chocolatiers. These are of course the very broadest of strokes, but you get the idea. We will be talking about how to better understand and work with ingredients in your chocolate making or work as a chocolatier, sharing inspiring stories of business success, and discussing issues that are relevant to the cacao and chocolate industries.
