This simple ganache-style dessert dip makes for easy summer entertaining. Who can resist luscious berries and crunchy pretzels swathed in fine chocolate?
Sweet strawberries and salty pretzel sticks are perfect for dipping into chocolate.
Yield: Makes 1 1/2 cups chocolate dip
1 cup (5 oz.) Taza Dominican 70% Stone Ground Chocolate, or any other fine dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
Sliced fruit for dipping
Pretzels or crispy cookies for dipping
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the chocolate and cream together, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour into a bowl and serve with a colorful platter of sliced fruit, cookies, pretzels or whatever else you’d like for dipping.
